Photographer Deletes All Photos of the Groom and the Bride after being denied a 20 minutes Break
A photographer was backed by people after describing how she deleted the photos of a newly wedded couple during their wedding.
Wedding photos are the most essential part of a wedding. Wedding photos brings memories that you’ll cherish forever. That’s why the photographer is the most important person in a wedding. However, a photographer did the unthinkable after she deleted all photos of a newly wedded couple.
“Am I The A**hole” forum, the photographer explained that she took the decision after being denied a 20 minute break “to get something to eat and drink.” Stated a post published on Reddits.
The post had many comments and the majority supported the photographer with the username Icy-Reserve6995. The photographer said she had worked for six hours prior to making a request to be given a break of 20 minute to go and take lunch.
She said that she did the couple a favour since she was their friend and they had recruited her to save money.
“I’m not really a photographer, I’m a dog groomer,” she explained. “I take lots of photos of dogs all day to put on my Facebook and Instagram, it’s “my thing” if that makes sense.”
She agreed to be their photographer for a $250 fee which was economical for a 10 hour event.
On the big day the photographer stated that she was tasked with:”driving around following the bride as she goes from appointment to appointment before the ceremony, taking photos along the way.”
She also took shots throughout the wedding ceremony including speeches and the reception. Meals were served at 5pm and the photographer was hoping to take a meal but unfortunately she was not included in the list of those who were to take food in the ceremony.
“I was told I cannot stop to eat because I need to be a photographer; in fact, they didn’t save me a spot at any table,” she stated.
Her space was also given away and instead she was tasked with looking after the young child of the couple as they enjoyed their meals.
“I told the groom I need to take off for 20min to get something to eat and drink,” they said. “He tells me I need to either be a photographer, or leave without pay.”
“With the heat, being hungry, being generally annoyed at the circumstances, I asked if he was sure, and he said yes, so I deleted all the photos I took in front of him and took off saying I’m not his photographer anymore.”
The photographer stated that she never met or talked to the couple again after the wedding. She also added that people had begun asking for the photos of the wedding. Despite her action the photographer was backed by people and most people condemned the married couple.
