We begin in England. Arsenal football club and their fans had a splendid weekend compared to other football clubs this past weekend. At Old Trafford, Arsenal won after 14 years. The 69th-minute penalty taken beautifully by the side’s captain, Pierr Emerik Aubameyang, made the difference.

The penalty was awarded after paul Pogba clipped Hector Bellerin’s ankle in the box. The match was Manchester united’s manager, Ole Gunner Solskier’s 100th game in charge.

It will also be essential to note that Arsenal’s new signing Thomas Partey bullied the Manchester United’s players in the middle of the pack. He was dominant from the start as he made impressive tackles. He was also influential in driving Arsenal forward as he made vital passes at the hosts’ half.

Elsewhere, there was a rain of goals as Aston Villa hosted their rivals Southampton FC. At half-time, the visitors were leading by four goals to zero. However, the hosts’ fighting spirit saw them come back with energy and determination, ready to salvage at least a point after half time. Their hard pressing gave them three goals causing the match ending in 3-4 in favor of Southampton Fc.

Other results from EPL  on Sunday are as follows;

In Italy, Udinese lost to Ac Milan in a 1-2 goals match. The game saw the 39 years old Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored a winner after coming off the bench. Despite his age, Zlatan remains the pain on his opponents’ kneck since he can’t stop scoring.
