Iko Kazi: Govt Announces Paid Internship Vacancies for Young Graduates in New Recruitment

The Public Service Commission has announced 4000 internship openings that must be filled by August 9th. The successful recruits will be paid a stipend at a rate determined by the PSC for a 12-month period. Applications must be submitted through the commission’s job portal.
Successful recruits (young graduates) will be assigned to various government ministries, departments, and agencies, where they will gain valuable technical and professional skills, as well as work experience in the public sector.

Appointment prerequisites A bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university is required for consideration for an appointment. The job seeker should not have graduated before 2017. Additionally, the applicant should be computer literate.

Successful applicants will be assigned duties that have been mutually agreed upon and assigned by the supervisors. They will also be expected to actively participate in any relevant mentorship activities and additional program responsibilities. The internship will last a year. The period, however, is not renewable.

Procedure for Application
Interested and qualified graduates should apply through the Commission’s job portal, which can be found at www.publicservice.go.ke or www.psckjobs.go.ke. The deadline for applications is August 9, 2022. Internships with the Ministry of Education Simultaneously, the Ministry of Education’s State Department for Early Learning and Basic Education announced 1000 internship positions.
Requirements To be eligible for the position, you must:
The applicant must have graduated no earlier than 2018.

A bachelor’s degree in education with a specialization in information communication technology, or a degree in ICT or a diploma in ICT or ICT Integration in Education from a recognized institution, is required. The candidate should be familiar with networking and infrastructure, application development, information security, and project management.

In terms of E-learning and content development, the applicant must also be able to integrate ICT with education.

The internship will last 12 months and will not be renewed. Interested and qualified graduates should apply through the Commission’s job portal, which can be found at www.publicservice.go.ke or www.psckjobs.go.ke.
